Creating that space with someone who is nonjudgmental is a blessing worth cherishing. Incarceration excludes those inside from regular human experiences. Something which I miss. Meeting, socializing, and engaging with people in a meaningful way, or just for pleasure becomes a memory. Prison, like other tribulations, brings out ones characteristics either positive or negative. Although incarcerated I chose not to allow this environment to dictate my outlook and I live my life with purpose. My regular activities include: legal research; assisting guys achieve their GED; exercising; and participating in a program that teaches life skills using the arts. I enjoy stimulating conversations that uplift, spark thoughts and action. I appreciate honesty, sharing laughs and compassion. I look forward to meeting women interested in experiencing a different chapter. |
